Ecommerce websites & online stores / Dubai & UAE

Ecommerce website development in Dubai. Built around the purchase.

An online store where the catalogue, product pages and checkout get the same attention as the homepage. We start with what you sell and how you fulfil it, then choose the platform.

THE BUSINESS OUTCOME

A store that works after launch, not just at launch.

An online store is an operation, not a website. Catalogue structure, payment approval, delivery rules and stock handling decide whether it works after launch.

Structure the catalogue properly

Categories, variants and filters decide whether customers find the product and whether the store can rank. This is planned before design, because changing it later means changing every URL.

Remove friction at checkout

Payment methods UAE customers expect, delivery rules that match how you actually ship, and a checkout that works on a phone. Most lost revenue in a store is lost here.

Connect the operation

Stock, orders and fulfilment need to reach whoever packs the boxes. We scope those connections before development rather than discovering them at launch.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Ecommerce websites & online stores.
A defined scope.

Know what is being delivered, what you need to provide and how progress will be reviewed.

Tell us what you need →
  1. Platform selection based on catalogue, editing and integration needs

Review the catalogue, variants, stock handling, delivery zones and payment requirements, then select the platform that fits them rather than the reverse.

  2. Store structure, category and product page design

Design the store structure, category and product pages around how customers browse and compare, with the URL plan agreed at this stage.

  3. Product import, payment gateway and delivery configuration

Import products and configure the payment gateway and delivery rules, with provider requirements and approval timelines identified early.

  4. Checkout journey review and conversion improvements

Review the checkout journey on mobile and desktop, reduce the steps that lose customers, and set up the measurement needed to see where drop-off happens.

  5. Launch checks, team training and handover

Run launch checks on ordering, payment and stock, then train your team and hand over access and documentation.

FROM FIRST CONVERSATION TO DELIVERY

A clear next step.
At every stage.

We start with the catalogue and the operational rules behind it: variants, stock, delivery zones and payment methods your UAE customers expect. Platform choice follows those requirements rather than preceding them.

  1. 01

    Map the catalogue and operation

What you sell, how it varies, how it ships and which payment methods you need. This determines the platform.

  2. 02

    Build the store

Structure, design and development through reviewable milestones, with product import and integrations scheduled against provider timelines.

  3. 03

    Test, launch, hand over

Place real test orders end to end, confirm payment and stock behaviour, then train your team on daily operation.

PLANNING YOUR BUDGET

Payment provider approval, transaction fees, platform subscriptions, catalogue size and product content are scoped separately. Approval timelines are controlled by the provider.

PRACTICAL ANSWERS

Ecommerce websites & online stores:
your questions answered.

Have a question about your setup?

Include it in your brief →
How much does ecommerce website development cost in Dubai?

It depends on catalogue size, variant complexity, the integrations required and whether product content exists. We quote in AED for the build and list platform subscriptions, payment gateway fees and transaction charges separately, since those are ongoing and paid by you directly.

Shopify, WooCommerce or something else?

Shopify suits most UAE retailers who want to operate the store themselves. WooCommerce suits businesses that need unusual logic or already run WordPress. Larger or highly custom catalogues sometimes justify something else. We recommend after reviewing your catalogue and operation, not before.

Which payment methods can UAE customers use?

Card payments through a local or international gateway, and cash on delivery where your operation supports it. Gateway choice depends on your trade licence, bank and expected volume. Approval is controlled by the provider and takes time, so we start that conversation early in the project.

Can you migrate my existing store?

Yes. Migration covers products, customers, orders and, importantly, the URL structure. We map old URLs to new ones before launch so existing search traffic and any live campaigns keep working. Data quality in the source store affects the effort involved.

Can you improve my checkout rather than rebuild the store?

Often yes, and it is usually the cheaper first step. We review where customers drop off, check the mobile experience and payment options, and propose targeted changes. A rebuild is only worth recommending when the platform itself is the constraint.
